This restoration is when there are multiple corrections of both minor, moderate and additional corrections necessary to the photograph to create a finished product. This includes such examples as: major tearing, water damage, smoke damage, extreme fading, large scratches, discolorization from age or extreme light damage.

Some large (oversized) photographs that have to be reduced and improved in quality would qualify as a major restoration. Small photographs are also very difficult to enlarge and maintain good quality, thus requiring major adjustments. When a photograph or snapshot is torn and parts of the subjects are missing, we work with the client to re-create to the best of our abilities a true representation of the original.

Many hours are often required to do multiple repairs and complete restoration. We take extreme care to provide our clients with our best work. It is slow and often painstaking work.

Experience has helped us learn the best ways to fix old and damaged photographs, but each picture is unique and we work to fix the problems to the complete satisfaction of our clients whenever possible.

If a picture is beyond repair, we will let the client know that it is not possible to repair and there will be no charge. However, over the years we have only had one original image that was so faint we were unable to restore it.

The final photograph(s) will be printed to the proportional size(s) requested by the client with long term, archival paper and ink. This provides the owner years of enjoyment of their family's treasured photograph(s), both old professional portraits and casual snapshots.

Memories & Treasures, Inc. takes great pride in working with their clients to assure satisfaction. We will do everything possible to provide our clients with the best work we can do for the least amount of money. This is usually based on the time and effort involved in creating the final product.

Enjoy the memories; Preserve the treasures; Revive the past; Relive the fun.

Your original photographs are returned by Registered mail carefully wrapped to guarantee no damage. All corrections are digitized, restored and printed on archival paper to provide you a treasure to enjoy for many years.
