Major Photo Restoration: Restore very old faded, torn historical family photograph

This very old 1800 photograph was about to be destroyed but patience and hundreds of hours brought back what appeared to be the impossible. This old, faded, torn, photo was small to begin with and casued multiple problems, but the perserverance paid off for the owner of this historical family photograph.
This photograph won the prestigious 2008 National Assoication of Photoshop Professional (NAPP) award for Photo Restoration and was well deserved.
